Láren, also known as Lu, has always been drawn to the world of creativity, encompassing writing, drawing, painting, crafting, and, of course, henna tattoos. In 2014, Lu received her first henna cone from her sister, and from that moment on, her love for henna blossomed.
It's true! I couldn't stop myself from diving deeper into the art of henna as I adorned my own skin with intricate designs. I felt a strong desire to practice and explore the art form, delving into its rich history and traditions. Henna captivated me instantly, sparking a passion that continues to burn brightly. I dedicated myself to mastering the craft, practicing designs ranging from simple to highly intricate.
As my passion grew, I also embarked on the journey of becoming an entrepreneur. By 2019, I had earned the equivalent of a Bachelor's degree, obtaining an A.S. in Business & Marketing and an A.A. in Liberal Arts.
During my early years, I operated under the DBA name "Henna.Art.Vibes," attending local events every weekend to offer my henna services and gain real-world experience in the marketplace. Encouraged by the support of clients and friends, I was motivated to transform my passion into a professional business. Today, as the proud owner of Designs by LF, LLC, I travel to provide henna services to individual clients and cater to private events. I've been fortunate enough to work at grand openings, music video sets, concerts, art festivals, school field trips, and various private celebrations.
This journey is a dream come true for me!
Connecting with numerous individuals over the years and designing their henna tattoos has made the experience truly special. Whether someone is new to henna or not, it's a joy to share the art's history and witness their amazement at the beauty and significance behind it.

Clients can choose from the artist's Instagram, online web gallery, or an outside reference. If you decide to choose from an outside source, be sure to have a clear reference image ready.
Right before your scheduled appointment, it’s important to clean the area of skin where your design will be placed. Wash area to remove any lotions/oils/dirt.
Artist can travel to your home or you can meet with the artist in Las Vegas.
Designs by LF will collect the remainder of your payment via Square, Cash, Venmo or Cashapp.
HENNA lasts for 2 weeks. JAGUA lasts for 3 weeks.

Yes! Please use your email confirmation to reschedule your appointment. Appointments are non-fundable. Services will be 100% credited with service when the client is available.
Guests are ALWAYS welcome, even if they are not receiving henna. Guests are welcome to buy a henna tattoo even if did not book online.
Group appointments are available for a maximum of 8 persons. Book one appointment with the selected design styles each guest plans to get.

Designs by LF offer flexible rates for all events. Use our estimator to determine your event needs & send your inquiry to the artist.
The Artist has photo albums with our most popular designs. The host can also request a custom menu of designs for guests which the Artist will make into an album.
YES, the artist must have a designated space including a table, 2 chairs, and adequate lighting! Multiple setup options are provided by the artist including event-themed options.
Each design can take 5 - 15 minutes to draw depending on each guest. Guests are responsible for maintaining the design after leaving the table.
After reviewing the event details and confirming availability of the artist, LU will send you a short agreement requesting a down deposit. Your booking is finalized once your deposit is received!
There is a $200 retainer to secure your date. $100 will be deducted from the total cost. After the event has concluded, the remaining $100 is REFUNDED if no terms to the agreement are broken.
Payment is accepted via Square, Venmo, Cashapp & CASH. Tips are not required but are appreciated!
If you have already secured your event and have a sudden change of plans, please contact the artist ASAP to discuss canceling or rescheduling!
